CoastOne specializes in servo-electric press brakes known for their precision and energy efficiency.
Stevens Machinery Sales Inc is the distributor and service provider for CoastOne CNC Electric Press Brakes in Canada.
COASTONE’S TECHNOLOGY:
CoastOne CNC Press Brakes utilize a direct-drive system with servo motors and ball screws to deliver force, resulting in high accuracy (0.000079 inches). They are more energy-efficient than traditional hydraulic brakes because they only use energy when in motion.
STEVENS MACHINERY ROLE:
We are the certified Canadian distributor for CoastOne, focusing on sales and service in the Canadian market. Our expertise in Selling and Servicing Press Brakes has contributed to the excellent sale of CoastOne technology in Canada..
PRODUCT RANGE:
- CoastOne models, include the C-Series (24-48 ton), the G-Series ( 67-166 ton) and the Bull series (up to 275 ton).
- CoastOne CNC electric press brakes are quickly becoming the future of press brake industry.
- The technology behind the CoastOne electric press brake is the “direct-drive system,” which uses servo motors directly attached to ball screws in the ram to administer the bending force.
- This design and capability offers an extreme accuracy of 0.000079 inches!
- CoastOne Brakes conserve more electricity than traditional hydraulic press brakes since they are not running motors, hydraulic pumps and heating fluids all day.
- These electric press brakes only use energy when in motion and conserve the energy when the ram is not moving.
C-SERIES: 24-48 TON CNC ELECTRIC PRESS BRAKES
- The C series is the smallest “fully electric,” servo-driven press brakes found in the CoastOne press brake line.
- The C-Series small press brakes feature 1 to 2 ball screws using a “direct drive system” to administer force.
- Each ball screw is capable of producing 25 tons of force.
- By using ball screws in a “direct drive system,” it makes our press brakes very fast and very accurate compared to hydraulic press brakes.
- They’re great for companies looking to free up capacity on larger press brakes by having a faster, more accurate small press brake in the shop.
- For average daily use, the C9 small press brake typically consumes less than 1.5 kW.
- By eliminating the need for hydraulic oil, the customer benefits by eliminating the cost of expensive oil changes, spare parts, valves, and maintenance found with traditional hydraulic press brakes.
G-SERIES: 67-166 TON CNC ELECTRIC PRESS BRAKES
- The G-Series press brakes feature an “O-Frame,” as opposed to the “C-Frame” found in the smaller machines.
- The “O-Frame” deflects less than the “C-Frame” which is very useful for the higher tonnage and longer bed length machines.
- Due to the strategic positioning of the drives, the CoastOne G-Series press brakes come standard with an “automatic crowning feature.”
- Each drive independently varies the force, depending on the position of the material across the press brake bed which results in a nice straight bend.
- Many “electric” competitors do not have this ability because they are using belts and pulleys across the ram, which don’t allow the machines to “pin-point” the force of the ram.
- Customers will also find HUGE electricity savings compared to traditional hydraulic machines.
BULL SERIES: 110-160-275 TON CNC ELECTRIC PRESS BRAKES
- The Bull 12 & 15 Series press brakes specialize in small bed length – large tonnage – saving expensive floor space.
- The Bull 30 Series press brake offers customers long bed length and 275 ton of popwer.
- These machines are all electric, servo-driven and built to run for decades in the most demanding environments.
- Thanks to the simple drive system, the average power consumption of the Bull Series is only 1-3kW.
- The absence of a hydraulic system eliminates expensive fluid changes, spare parts, valves and maintenance expenses, common to hydraulic press brakes.
- The closed O-frame construction is designed for high tonnage press brakes.
- Unlike C-frames, O-frames have less vertical and horizontal deflecting.
- That means less weight, better accuracy and a small footprint with big power
- Compared to outdated hydraulic systems, CoastOne’s environmentally-friendly servo technology requires minimal maintenance and combined with our ball screw system delivers superior power and accuracy.
- High precision O-frame with ball screws makes Bull-series superior solution for high accuracy bending works.
- Bull series press brakes are an optimal solution with a small footprint and high tonnage.
- A return on your investment comes together nicely when you can take on big jobs with a lot of power, with less space and overhead.
